April 2016 Tim Holtz Tag Challenge
Hello Friends
For this month's Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2016 challenge is faux mosaic - paint resist.
I like the technique of faux mosaic, it's so amazing.
I made a tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix tea time bigz die.
Apply the grout using a palette knife. Let it dry.
Apply distress paint to the distress woodgrain cardstock using a brayer and let dry.
Color the cardstock and dry with a heat tool. Then ink the textured cardstock with distress ink using a blending tool and distress the edges with a paper distresser.
Splatter the tag using the distress splatter brush and black paint.
Glue paper pieces to the grouted surface and cover with a layer of glue.
Glaze each paper tile.
Adhere the woodgrain cardstock to the tag and adding embellishments.
